• Develop initiatives to strengthen the voice of women in the development of Timor-Leste
• Provide a library of resources for use by women, including resources on economic development, education, gender-based violence, maternal and child health, gender and development
• Provide a focal point for program development and implementation in the Alola Foundation
• Provide a program of targeted humanitarian assistance for women

Thanks to a generous donation from the Moreland Community Health Centre in Melbourne, Alola has installed six new computers for public use in our Women’s Resource Centre (WRC). The centre provides beginner to advanced computer training and offers free access to the internet.  Members of the Women’s Committees (established in the IDP camps) are learning how to use computers for the first time. Young women, studying at university use the centre regularly for their studies. Participants are also offered Life Skills Training and information about gender and health.
